A punk odyssey into the fantastic world of lofi twee pop!

Sun Cousto will present their second album, «Imaginary girls», to be released in May 2024. Ten catchy tracks that resume the band’s journey and evolution over the last few years. A mix of sharp punk, authentic pop and free, self-assumed experimentation. Always claiming their lofi/twee influences, Sun Cousto transcend styles and codes to express frontally, revealing themselves in little half auto-fictional stories. The album is made up of studio/live recordings as well as home recordings made by the band themselves, allowing them to explore new forms of creativity.
Sometimes analog, sometimes digital, sometimes melancholy, sometimes cheerful, «Imaginary Girls» is a sincere, energetic album that both questions and rejoices.

Im Oktober 2023 setzen Sun Cousto die Segel für ein unvergessliches Abenteuer im Land der aufgehenden Sonne. Angetrieben von voller Shinkansen-Power entdecken die beiden Twee LoFi-Punkerinnen Japan während drei intensiven Wochen. Auf einer komplett selbstorganisierten Tour ziehen sie durch die Straßen der Megacities, verkaufen Ranma-inspirierten Merch, schreien sich die Lunge aus dem Leib und durchleben sogar ein paar Horror-Geschichten. All das wurde vom Filmemacher Elias Gamma eingefangen in einer 30-minütigen Dokumentation.

Danach gehts weiter mit den DJs CHRÜSIMÜSI bis spät in die Nacht hinein!
