Geneva-based Massicot Members Colline and Mara are the perfect example of Swiss Resilience. A mixture between a glorious past (their 1985 Hit “Gimme Some Loving”), later decline and decadence but with a constant sense of sophistication and elegance. They’re back with Habitant to look for redemption from an audience that throughout many generations will never forget their roles as Samantha or Cindy in the Serials ”Vegan 2000 ”. Today a well-known and prominent music critic has described their voices: “as if they were soaked in a vat of Pastis, left hanging in the smokehouse for a few months, and then taken outside and run over with a car".

5-Member London-based Band Housewives grew up in the best tradition of english rock experimentalism and multi-instrumentalism (drums, prepared-guitars, sax, electronics) and particularly drank and continue the major influence of the greatest “This Heatian” eclecticism. Now, after so many -ism, they have become truly Orfèvres du Son in their latest Album “Twilight Splendour”. A throbbing digital mixture of basic rhythms and variations through different passages/textures which gather playfulness with explorations and know-how in the treatment and response of sound. They’re, indeed, an enormous live Band. One of the only possible answers to the chaotic delirium of late capitalism: the simplicity, complexity and in the same way directness of their process. The era of Utopias and big Speeches has come to an end and it is time to LOOK FAILURE IN THE FACE.
